The meeting point for this hike is Hemme-Milch in Schmargendorf. The hike into the Grumsin begins in Zuchenberg. From there, the route passes through moors and a variety of forests until it leads directly into the wonderful World Heritage Site. Along the way, you\u2019ll discover ancient beech trees, a roller-coaster-like landscape, and large moors, before heading back to Zuchenberg past the two Plunz lakes. The area is home to five different woodpecker species, collared flycatchers, and even the kingfisher at its water bodies.
