If you want to hike through the Grumsin Beech Forest from the north, you can drive to Angerm\u00fcnde and from there along Rudolf-Breitscheid-Stra\u00dfe via Gehegem\u00fchle to Altk\u00fcnkendorf. However, the parking spaces here are limited to around 15 and therefore fill up quickly, especially at weekends during the summer months. You can therefore also plan your journey by public transport and by bike. For example, you can start from Angerm\u00fcnde (regional train connection) and take the same route as bus route 452 or the World Heritage bus route 497 (see <a href=\"\/wanderrouten-wanderung\/\">map<\/a>).   In Altk\u00fcnkendorf, you can park your bike at the information center and start your hike from there. <\/p><p>You are also welcome to take advantage of the well-equipped <a href=\"https:\/\/welterbe-grumsin.de\/en\/fahrrad-e-bike-verleih\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bicycle shops in Angerm\u00fcnde<\/a>, which also rent out e-bikes.<\/p><p>A bicycle tour through the World Heritage area is not recommended due to fallen trees (see the note on accessibility at <a href=\"\/verhalten-im-weltnaturerbe\/\">Verhalten im Weltnaturerbe<\/a>) and cobblestone streets.<\/p><p>There are also tried and tested cycle tours around the Grumsin Beech Forest.
