A hike through the Grumsin Beech Forest always works up an appetite. If you have not brought your own food, there are a few places to eat around the World Heritage Site:
The closest dining option to Buchenwald Grumsin is the café in the Café in the Künstlerscheune in Louisenhof. If you are in the southern part of the World Heritage Site, you can stop off at the Geopark visitor center in Groß-Ziethen. There is a snack bar with bockwurst and rolls, pizza, coffee and tea, as well as cakes and tarte flambée.
And for all those who are out and about in the hot summer: The Geopark even has a freezer with ice cream!
