Hunting season in the Grumsin Beech Forest - Important information for visitors
Dear visitors,
on November 16, 2025 hunts will take place on the areas in the northern area (near Nordweg Orangenes Buchenblatt) and on December 7, 2025 on the areas in the core zone.
Many beaters, hunters, dogs and game will be out and about in the forest on these days. After the official hunting times, follow-up and
control searches are carried out.
Please avoid the marked hiking trail (section of the Red Beech Leaf Trail from north to south) from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on December 7.
